Pass Plus

Congratulations! You've passed your test, you are now safe to drive on the roads unaccompanied. But you must remember that you are an inexperienced driver.
This is where Pass Plus comes in.

WHAT IS PASS PLUS?

Pass Plus is an additional training course specifically aimed at new drivers, designed by the DSA with the help of insurers and the driving instruction industry. Statistics show that new drivers are more likely to have an accident in the first 2 years of passing their test due to a lack of driving experience.

What Pass Plus aims to do is to build upon the driving skills and knowledge already gained by students during their lessons to make them safer and more responsible drivers.

WHAT DOES PASS PLUS COVER?

Pass Plus is made up of 6 modules:-

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS TO PASS PLUS?

As we explained earlier, the emphasis is on safety. Pass Plus will give you extra valuable driving experience under expert tuition. The course will help boost your awareness of all kinds of hazards and help you learn how to anticipate, plan for and deal with them safely, thus reducing the chances of you being involved in an accident.

Pass Plus is an official government scheme, introduced to cut the number of fatal and serious accidents on british roads. To encourage more new drivers to participate in the Pass Plus scheme, the government has negotiated generous discounts for motor insurance.

Reductions as great as 30% can be obtained off the 1st years insurance policy, so not only will the course make you a safer driver but it will also save you money too!
(On completion of the course your instructor will advise you as to which insurance companies support the scheme.)

HOW MUCH DOES PASS PLUS COST?

The course is a minimum of 6 hours and costs £185.
